Wow, this is tough…I would say my favorite songs are Still, Image, Lullaby of Love, Love Faith & Hope, Llegaste aquí…you know what, forget this list haha. My songs usually come from different situations in life, so each holds a very special meaning to me. :) and thank you!!
Yeah!! I’ll update the post with the lyrics :) Thank youuu, God bless!
My tumblr is completely abandoned, I know. You would not believe all the things that I’m doing right now.
Please pray that I would keep learning how to manage and administer my time wisely!
Here’s a song that I wrote a while ago.
God bless! :)
*update*
Lyrics:
Fragile like a feather
Eyes opened wide
Skin is getting thicker
Fighting life and time
-
Bring me into motion
Sing me into love
Move me into life
Like falling in love for the first time
Bring me into motion
Sing me into love
Move me into life
Like falling in love…as I stand
Still, still, still
—
Rocks under the fingers
World over the neck
Hearing only whispers
Aiming for the test
It’s all about letting God direct me, enjoying every single moment and not worrying about anything. Life is good.
I’ve always loved dancing, it’s something I’m pretty passionate about. Now i’m dancing a whole lot more. It’s fun.
I’m letting go of my plans and expectations and appreciating even the smallest of details.
Ignoring drama, letting go.
I don’t have to worry about anything.
Philippians 4:6-7
New International Version (NIV)
6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Thanks :) There’s soo much more from my trip but I just haven’t gotten around to writing. Will do for sure! And thanks again!
Getting to Haiti was interesting. We had to take three planes. Our last one was cancelled due to weather. We were “stuck” in Port au Prince, and I couldn’t be happier. We were going to be able to go through the whole city and the mountains - almost a 4 hour bus drive - experiencing the Haitian culture more than anyone who had gone there before from the past teams. The plane from Port au Prince to Jacmel was the method used because they warned us a trip in bus would be “too dangerous for white people”. Previous groups that have done the trip had gotten mobbed on the way, and it could have easily happened. Nevertheless, i was excited. This was my first glimpse at Haiti.
The streets of Haiti are flooded with two main things: people and trash. Port au Prince was in ruins. It felt like the earthquake had happened just a few hours before we got there. The reality is that only 2% of the rubble has been removed since the quake. Two percent. The population density was incredible.
We stopped by a gas station to get some snacks and water for the trip. I was greeted by a man with a shotgun at the entrance of the gas station’s mini-mart. I didn’t know shotguns were so big. I wasn’t scared.
